This seminar is a one day course that will meet for 2-3 hours. This training seminar will be held at our studio animal compound in Canyon Country, California (just east of Santa Clarita). This is not a novice course, all dogs must have reliable basic obedience.
This seminar will be held in a small group setting with individual attention, as working around other animals and new people is of utmost importance when it comes to working on set. It is also necessary that your pet is comfortable working with other trainers. All of Hollywood Animals training methods are based on positive reinforcement (Operant conditioning) and affection. The instructors are working professional studio animal trainers, you will be learning from the best!
We will explain to you how animals are "cast" for productions and what makes a good studio dog
You and your dog will learn the most commonly required studio animal behaviors
Tips on photographing your dog for presenting to an animal agency

Requirements:
• Dogs MUST have reliable basic obedience (sit, stay, down, loose leash walking, well mannered)…this is not a novice class.
• Dogs must be in good health have proof of current vaccinations and rabies inoculation.
• All dog breeds are welcome as long as they are not aggressive to strangers or other dogs.
• Intact dogs must not be in season.
• Do not feed your dog before the class.
W hat To Bring:
• 6 foot leash (leather or nylon)
• Treats (cut into small pieces, such as chicken/turkey, cheese, natural balance)
• Water Bowl
• Copies of current vaccination records
